We meet monthly on the second Wednesday of each month.

Marina Del Rey Anglers, Inc.
(MDRA)

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sport fishing and conservation club centered in the Los Angeles and Southern California area, participates in marlin tournaments around the world, volunteer countless hours taking inner city children fishing, raises fingerlings in the fish grow out pen now in the marina, and sponsors events and activities to fund other environmental projects and organizations.

Charities Supported

Many worthwhile organizations and conservation activities are supported by MDRA events such as the Marina Del Rey Halibut Derby.  Proceeds will go to support the MDR Fishery Enhancement Project, MDRA Kids Day Out fishing event now known as the MDR Youth Fishing Program.

Other groups supported over the years include: The Boy Scouts Seabase in MDR, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Venice and Santa Monica, HUBBS fish hatchery, NMFRP of Cal State Northridge, United Anglers, and Heal the Bay, IGFA, PORF, and United Anglers.  In the past 27 years the halibut derby has given away approx. $200,000 to charity.
