Halibut Derby
May 14th, 2011
What a great day of
fishing. Saturday's fishing was topped by Don Kobabe with a 43.7
lb fish. Second was a Kayak fisherman Tony Campos with a limit of halibut
and a topper of 17.7 lbs.
Thanks goes out to all
fishermen, fisherwomen and the many volunteers who did great to raise
funds for Youth Fishing and Conservation efforts. A Special Thanks to
all the businesses that sponsored the MDR Halibut Derby with gifts. You
all Rock!

The Results of the 2011 Halibut Derby in Summery
We had a good time and the sun came out to warm our hearts. The top
fish came in early to set the pace. A lovely Miss Halibut got all the
anglers to stop and pose for a photo. Enjoy them below and on the links.
