The Super Raffle has so many great prizes that it is a long time favorite of the many anglers in the derby. Regardless of whether you catch a big halibut you can win lots of great products and trips from all of our many supporters in the fishing and boating industries. Please tell all the sponsors you appreciate their support of the Halibut Derby when you shop at their stores ,etc.
One volunteer needs an extra mention here. Vic Jedlicka. Way to Go! You Rule the Raffle Kingdom. Most of you out in the audience just know him as the voice on the microphone calling the numbers, describing the raffle prizes, and saying they came from this merchant or that charter company but he has been gathering up these prizes for months. His dedication and tenacity is why we had so many great prizes to offer. Thank you Vic! Your efforts are not forgotten.
Vic has been out with the Kids on the Youth Fishing Trips many times. He knows just where the proceeds are gong to be spent. Vic is a real tiger at this job. Everyone should give this man a pat on the back. Thank you again Vic.
