The Jim Lowerree Perpetual Trophy was donated by Bill Northington in 1991.

Bill and Jerry Foote won it as the First Place Team in the '92 Derby.  

Lowerree was a well known fishing maniac. He trailered his 26' Blackman up and down the west coast and fished every possible day. He was a top angler and an all around nice guy. Unfortunately he was at Catalina scuba diving and drowned.
