Oh Yes, what a fun Awards Party!
Everyone who has signed up for the Marina Del Rey Anglers 26TH Annual Halibut Derby was invited to attend the grand Millennium Awards Party and Dinner!!
The Dorados
The Party started immediately after Weigh-in with a super Buffet Dinner, Live Music, Multitude of Door Prizes, and Raffles. It was a tremendous bash of a party. Everyone in the Derby was invited to come! The fee for both the Derby and Awards Party with a super buffet dinner, door prizes, raffle prizes, and live music was $60.
The Party, held in Burton Chace Park, just behind the weigh-in, and started at 4:00 P.M.
Bud Girls and Budweiser...
made for a very happy crowd.
The funds generated from this derby go to charities, conservation programs, taking underprivileged at risk children fishing, white sea bass grow out pens and other programs to perpetuate fishing for all of us and future generations in our waters.
Door Prizes and Raffle
To Win raffle prizes the winner must be present at the party, except for the Hand Made Bowie Knife donated by Frank McGill. Frank McGill is well known for his artistry in fashioning the beautiful knives.
The Raffle was a little long
as we had so much to give away to so many people.
But the Crowd stayed... Greed is Good.
T-shirts cosponsored with Mercury Marine were sold at the Long Beach Fred Hall Show, Last Minute Sign up, Weigh-in and Awards party. Yes , That’s right Mercury Marine is a major sponsor this year. See their Support Page.
